When something does not work
The red bar at the top
It means the problem is the server, not something you did.

The bar is for global problems only
If the server is unreachable or returns an internal error, a bar appears across the page. It clears itself on the first successful request.
Errors that belong to one request — a permission refusal, a validation error, an expired session — never raise the bar and are reported in place, beside the control you used.
So if you can see the bar, the problem is almost never something you did.
What to do
- Wait a few seconds — one successful request clears it
- If it stays, refresh the page
- If it still stays, take the request identifier from the error and send it to us
- On an on-premises installation, talk to your administrator
