Import from Excel or CSV
When you already have the figures and there is no document to read.
Two doors into one grid
A spread does not have to come from a document. If you have the trial balance or the statement as a file, import it directly. CSV and XLSX are accepted; other formats are refused.
After import everything behaves like a document-derived spread: mapping, review, ratios. The only difference is that rows do not cite a document page.
Figures are read exactly as written
Persian and Arabic-Indic digits, parentheses meaning negative, thousands and decimal separators in either convention, and currency or unit tokens — all recognised and converted to the exact number.
An empty cell stays empty and never becomes zero. A cell that is not a number at all is flagged so you can see it — it is never guessed.
Ragged rows, and rows wider than their headers, are not dropped either; the table widens as needed.
An imported spread counts as content too
An engagement holding an imported spread will not delete, even with no document attached. The spread is itself completed work.
