Deadlines and overdue

Two time mechanisms that do not collide

Every task belongs to a week — the week it was created or finalised in. That is the rhythm of the work and the default always exists.

Set a deadline date on a task and from that moment only the date decides whether it is overdue. Clear the date and the decision goes back to the week.

The badge on the bell counts your overdue tasks. When nothing is overdue, no number is shown at all — not a zero.

A counter that always shows something stops being seen within days.
