Inside a workspace, reading is open: feeds, engagements, documents and the catalogue are visible to every member.
There are two exceptions and both work the same way: meetings, which are born restricted, and documents somebody has deliberately restricted.
In both cases, hidden content simply does not exist for someone without access: not in a list, not in search, not in an assistant's answer.
Four things that make this dependable
- One authority decides; every door calls the same one
- Opening or closing access takes effect immediately — there is no cache to clear
- Hidden content never occupies a slot in your search results
- Platform staff without a membership see none of it
An admin sees everything, but never silently
A workspace admin can reach restricted content. When they open something they were not on the list for, the page says so.
Having access is one thing; that access being invisible is another, and the second is what destroys trust.
